Terms of Use
Effective October 23, 2026. Publisher: Kenneth Schmidt.
By using {{APP_NAME}} you agree to these terms. They are in addition to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to the app.
Who may use it
You must be of legal drinking age where you live (21 or older in the United States). The app is not for children.
What the app is
A personal inventory and journal for a collection of spirits. It does not sell, deliver, broker or promote the sale of alcohol, and nothing in it is an offer to sell. Please drink responsibly and never drive after drinking.
Your data
You own what you enter. You are responsible for keeping backups; the app offers exports and iCloud sync, but sync is not a guarantee against loss.
Values and information
Prices, values, ages and details come from you, from imported files, or from optional automated lookups that can be wrong. Do not rely on them for insurance, tax, resale or safety decisions without checking. The inventory PDF is a convenience, not an appraisal.
Lookups and third parties
If you use lookups with your own API key, your use is subject to that provider’s terms and charges. Recipe links open third-party sites that I do not control.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app to break the law, to infringe others’ rights, or to attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows.
No warranty; limit of liability
The app is provided “as is” without warranties. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any loss of data or value, and my total liability is limited to what you paid for the app.
Changes and contact
I may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: support@caskshelf.com.
